Oklahoma City Health Department Guidelines
Name: "Big John" (No, I do not like the song)
Married: Yes to the woman who keeps me on this side of sanity.
Children: Yes, two very awesome daughters who I couldn't be more proud of.
Pets: A pretty darn big puppy and a cat that shows signs of schizophrenia.
Favorite Food: Oriental & Italian (buffet preferred)
Favorite Beverage: Pepsi (That's right, I ain't afraid to carry around a 2-liter with me either!) One day, I hope to be their official spokesman.
Started In Radio: March 5th, 2002 at what was once a very honorable place.
Number Of Stations Worked With: 7 (including 1 online)
If Not In Radio: Honestly, I just don't know. Thinking about that takes me to a deep, dark place and I try not to go there.
Some Things Outside Of Radio: I've am the ring announcer for several wrestling organizations in three different states (AR, OK, & TX), I'm a member of both the Oklahoma MRC, LCEM's Communication Support Team, and a Ham Radio Operator (KF5UUV). I could go on, but I don't have an ego and this isn't a resume.
Favorite Music Genre: Depends on what I'm in the mood for. Usually just about anything other than Bluegrass. I really like Red Dirt / Texas Country, more Traditional Country, and Rock!
Favorite Musical Artist: Too many to choose from different genre's. I'd say somewhere between AC/DC to Waylon Jennings.
Thoughts On Taxes: I don't mind paying as long as the money is used for all the right reasons. However, it should be noted that if 10% is good enough for God, It should be good enough for the I.R.S.
One Thing People Know About: I try to keep things positive. Life doesn't have to be as difficult as some people try to make it.
Most People Don't Know: A full 8 hours of sleep in one night is a very rare luxury for me. Because the way my mind works, I get anywhere from 4-6 hours. That allows me to accomplish more while other people dream.
Motivation At Work: Just being able to work with the best darn people in this radio market today!
Worst Fear: Boy, that's a tough one. I can't choose between not being able to stay in radio (On-Air) or having my doctor tell me that I can't drink any more Pepsi.
Hobbies: On the advice of my attorney, at this time I cannot confirm, nor deny, any or all activities that can be considered as hobbies I may or may not have.
Immediate Objectives: To be the best I can be with the resources I have available to me. In other words, continue doing what I do each and every day.
Dream Goal In Life: To be the owner of a successful AM/FM radio station.
