Born in Colorado and raised in Oklahoma by a mother who ran the household and a father who worked on the railroad. Growing up I was always active in sports and music.  Those were my two biggest loves in life until my kids came along. I am married to a beautiful woman, Donna, and between us we have 6 children and 8 grandchildren.  We were one girl short of being the Brady Bunch!

I was first in the entertainment business working for a promotions company.  After an illness that had me down for a couple years, I started in broadcasting in Oklahoma City.  After stints in Ardmore and Tulsa, I moved to Ft. Smith in 2001.  Through church, coaching kids all the way from 6 years old to high school, mentoring or working with non-profits, I have always been involved in my community.

I follow and cheer for the Razorbacks but I will always be an OSU Cowboy!  If you walk in my office, you will be bombarded with OSU memorabilia. Even my wife, who is a die-hard Razorback fan, has discovered she looks good in Orange :).  Actually she looks good in anything!

I am on air in the mornings.  You can call me at 479.242.0931 or find me on Facebook @jerryaustin or @hogcountry931.
